Committee Co-Chairs Sally Kreamer and Sheryl Lockwood
The Awards Committee honors individuals and/or groups who have made
significant contributions in the following categories: Larry Brimeyer Award for Exceptional
Leadership Development, Correctional Worker, Lowell Brandt ICA Member, Multicultural Issues Worker, Outstanding Citizen,
Public Official/ Employee, Victim Assistance, Women's Issues, Correctional Program and Past President. Award recipients are announced during the Spring Conference. In
addition, a special program is held annually to pay respect to correctional employees who have passed away during the year.

Memorials - ICA annually holds a special ceremony for corrections staff that have passed away.
Scholarships - The Training & Workshop Committee annually awards two $250.00 scholarships,
one to an ICA member and one to a child of an ICA member.
